The Clean Ohio Trail Fund (COTF) is one of four components of the Clean Ohio Fund. It provides competitive statewide grant dollars to communities for the purpose of improving outdoor recreation, specifically recreational trails. For this round of funding, ODNR recommended 11 Clean Ohio Trails Fund community projects for grant funding. These projects will enable acquisition of trail corridors, construction and improvement of trail and regional trail infrastructure, new links to statewide trails, preservation of natural corridors and connections from urban areas to recreational areas.
These recommendations were approved by the Clean Ohio Trail Fund Advisory Board and the ODNR Director.
Controlling Board approval of $4,336,582.00 is requested for these 11 awarded Round 20 COTF grant projects.
