The Rickenbacker Ohio Air National Guard Base Ramp lighting and Building Exterior lighting is original to the base and buildings and needs renovations. The Adjutant General's Department has selected Star Consultants Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, an Architect /Engineering (A/E) firm to perform design services for the renovations project for this Ohio Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio.
The Architect and Engineer firm's services will evaluate and design to address upgrading lighting base wide to more energy efficient lighting with higher color rendering index to provide better work environments and safe outdoor conditions at less cost than HID (high intensity discharge) site light fixtures with energy efficient LED (light emitting diode) or HEL (high efficiency lighting) technology. Lighting upgrades to be provided on exterior lighting systems to include all building wallpacks, street and parking lot lights, apron lights, and other area lighting.
This request is only for surveys, investigations and assessments (Type A) and design phases through complete drawings (Type B) cost.
Star Consultants Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm, was selected from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission's RFP/RFQ method. From this solicitation, 2 proposals were received, two vendors were interviewed, and Star Consultants Inc. was selected as the most qualified and responsive bidder. The request amount of $72,300.00 includes a $2,000 OFCC consultant list fee. This project is 100% Federally funded.
